E for ... ...

Fifth day of the A to Z Challenge.

This is getting tougher each day. Not coz of lack of topics but due to the enormousness of that. Now thinking of the word A, I get so much of other words which I wanted to scribble down. But as a blog friend commented "there's always next year".

So today I choose the word "Extra".

There won't be much people in this world who doesn't prefer a little bit extra of something. Extra sweets, bonus, discount, love, care or anything except for an extra ounce of sadness.

Yesterday a boy of 18 years took his own life, coz he didn't clear some papers in his exam. Just for some extra marks which he could have got the next time, he decided to end his journey in this world. Maybe if he had took an extra effort to talk to his parents/friends or if he took an extra effort to tackle his fears and sadness he would have still be alive and in next 4-5 years he would have been a proud Engineer, who's ready to conquer the world.

Thinking from another side, if someone had some extra time to console him or give him support or talk to him and make him understand that life is not all about the mere things we encounter daily. It's all about the people that's around us, the people that love us for who we are. If someone took that extra initiative to remind him that he's loved by many, he could still been alive.

This is just a self reminder to myself to always have some extra smile, extra time, extra goodness, love & concern to all around me.

Maybe your smile can make wonders in other person's life.

God Blez.
